When creating a new folder for a project, or
modifying an old (archived) project that will become an active
project again, name the project folder as follows:
99-000-A (Project Name) example: 99-183-A
(Destin West Condominium)
The project number is seperated
by dashes with the project code capitalized at the end. After
the project number, provide the project name in parenthesis to
make project location easier. Do not put comma, periods or other
punctuation marks in the project folder name.
Make a different project folder for each code.
When creating a new drawing file
for a project, name the file as follows:
99000A-eng.dwg = Demo, site, utility, grading
and drainage plans, etc.
99000A-misc.dwg = Cover, details, specifications,
etc.
99000A-xcon.dwg = Existing conditions drawing
99000A-sll.dwg = Submerged land lease drawing
99000A-df.dwg = Dredge and fill drawing
99000A-sur.dwg = Survey drawing

99000A-pre.dwg = Preliminary layouts
99000A-stk.dwg = Stakeout drawings
99000A-asb.dwg = Asbuilt drawings
Label old dwg files as follows:
OLD_99000A-eng.dwg or OLD2_99000A-eng.dwg
Label multiple current dwg files as follows:
99000A-sur.dwg or 99000A-sur2.dwg
Note: All drawing
file project numbers shall contain the last two digits of the
year in which the project was contracted.
